What We Believe

Scripture: We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis for our beliefs. We believe it to be Inspired by the Holy Spirit and written by man to man. It is without error in its original writings. It is the supreme and final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 19:7; Isaiah 8:20; 2 Peter 1:21).

GOD There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. The eternal God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.

God the Father . (Gen 1:1; 2:7; Ex 3:14; 6:2-3; 15:11; 20: Jer 10:10; 17:13 Mat 6:9; 7:11; 23:9; 28:19; Mark 1:9-11 John 4:24; 5:26; 14:6-13; 17:1-8; Acts 1:7 Rom 8:14-15; 1Co 8:6; Gal 4:6; Eph 4:6 Col 1:15; 1Ti 1:17; Heb 11:6; 12:9; 1Pe 1:17; 1Jo 5:7)

God the Son Jesus Christ ; (Isa 7:14; 53:1-12; John 1:1-14, 14;10-30; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26- 36, 2:1-7; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15; 3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 4;12, 1:9-11; 1 Timothy 2:4-5, 6:13-16; Philippians 2:5-11.

The Holy Spirit; (Matthew 28:19; John 16:7-13, 3:5-6, 14:16-17; Ephesians 1:13; Acts 1:8, 5:3-4, 5:18; Galatians 5:25).

Salvation -For a person to be saved he or she must know and understand the truth about Jesus Christ, repent of their sin, believe in the gospel, and call in faith on Christ’s name. There is no other way to be reconciled with God and be spiritually born again. No one who has been genuinely saved through Jesus Christ (born again) can lose his or her salvation, they are children of God. (John 1:12, 3:1-36; Romans 6:23, 10:9-10, 13, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 1:13, 2:8-9, 4:30; Titus 3:5; Romans 5:1; Galatians 3:26).
